information about kerry/edwards campaign! time for regime change. i think it shood be edwards/kerry, but i'm not a registered democrat, so not much i can do about that (and i don't intend to switch back anytime soon!) i have serious issues with them, but it's the only choice for an attempt at sanity...

i'm busy. i'm teaching cardio kickboxing at my local gyms. i bought a house last year and it's a time (and money) grabber. i finally bought a new car to replace my safety-impaired econobox. and work, is, well, still work. it's still exciting in that there is always something new. but the politcal stuff sometimes just sucks.

hey everyone...been busy with lots of stuff, some of it not so fun. i'm working through the insurance process from the car accident i had in march, dealing with family issues, and the death of a close friend. thanks to those of you who have supported me during this troublesome year and i know things are going to get better. they have to.
on the positive side of things, i'm doing great at work...i've recently been acknowledged in my colleague's opus, and his mother has a fantastic memoir out. buy them both and get reading!
i've also managed to ditch my workout journals after 2 years of keeping them (as in paper copies :) it's a great milestone in my workouts and on my way to becoming a personal trainer. i'm also passionate about cross-training, cardio kickboxing, and muy thai kickboxing. if you're at one of the gold's gyms in the southbay, say hi (i could use a responsible, non-socialite workout partner). and yes, i still swim.

all is well. busy busy summer! i have so many pictures of so many things i've done since the last update. and yes, i'm stressed!
i've started keeping a work out log. it's helped me a lot in my overall progress. maybe someone else can benefit from it!

well i've done some housecleaning here, but not a lot. i've updated the links page, my resume, and some more descriptive stuff. i have lots of photos to get in place, but of course, it seems i never have the time nor energy to do anything with them!
another busy year is behind me and i'll be turning 35 in less than a month. where did my youth go? i've completed one year at oracle, and working on number two. goddess help me make it through one more. i have plans to go to asia again, around april, definately to hong kong, then to either taipei or singapore.
i also have a new digital camera, and i'll be posting pix here, so keep an eye out!

easter sunday 2000: well it's easter bunny resurrection day. we're headed up to the city and having rabbit for dinner. i've updated the hogar page and cleaned up some of the links.
february 2000: some updating is in order...
my life has been incredibly busy and propserous since the last time i did any work on this web site. i started a job at oracle corporation december 1999 after i was layed off from symantec after 3.5 years of hard work and success. it was time for a change with new career opportunites and chances to something different.
we finally moved to bigger apartment that has become the place of my dreams. all those years of struggling are paying off. i'm hoping to buy a house for my mother in the central san joaquin valley and maybe dabble around in the real estate market. although the stock market has been good to me, it's still not one of the best ways to make stable money.
i just finished re-reading kerouac's "dharma bums" and it has refreshed my outlook on life. i'm going to re-read "on the road" soon. i have never lost my passion for beatnik lit and it means more than anything to me in this bay of shallow, greedy, and empty tech leeches.
i'm also enjoying learning to speak cantonese and read and write in chinese. i've also never lost my passion for language and the culture that drives it.
so if this site has been stagnant, i'm sorry. i have a busy real life and i'm on the computer all day and when i go home sometimes it's the last thing i wanna see!

well it's been awhile since i've updated this site. again, work calls and my personal life is busier than ever. i'll have time in a couple of weeks to redesign this website and add new writings and pictures! my first priority is to update my resume and get ready for some even bigger changes in my life.
last weekend in march was a UFW march...i'll be posting pictures hopefully before i take off again...this time to new york city and try and get in touch with the puerto rican side of things =)

i spent 3 days in manila and 10 days on the beautiufl island of guam with someone very special. i've posted a few pictures here.
